Go back to March, where 70's New Wave - code name I'll Be There - invades the dance floor to the rhythms and riffs of Nile Rodgers. A groove with a cleverly orchestrated image by Inez & Vinoodh, who took advantage of the excitement of the last Fashion Week in New York to stage top model Karlie Kloss swaying to the sounds of this (CHIC feat Nile Rodgers) come-back funk, with Stephen Galloway, André, Jordan Barrett, Anna Ewers, Edie Campbell, Liya Kebede, Cameron Russell, Rianne ten Haken and Mica Arganaraz under the flashing lights of PACHA NYC. The clip unveils the upcoming high fashion series "Parlez-vous Français" in the May 2015 issue of Vogue Paris, and also shows a new exclusive video on the for CHIC, remixed by Avan Lava. And the beat goes on before the official release of the album "It's About Time" in June.

February 2, 2015 — Burbank, CA — Warner Bros. Records (WBR) announced today that it has signed a global recording contract with Grammy-winning composer, producer, arranger, guitarist Nile Rodgers and his multi-platinum selling band CHIC. In addition, WBR has entered into a deal with Land of The Good Groove, the label formed by Rodgers and veteran music executive Michael Ostin. WBR will handle all distribution and label services for artists signed by Rodgers and Ostin, who will act as the imprint’s creative supervisors.

Sam Smith welcomes Nile Rodgers to V Festival: 'This is really surreal'
Sam Smith was joined by Nile Rodgers at V Festival in Chelmsford
Smith kicked off his set with 'Nirvana', before surprising fans by welcoming Nile Rodgers on stage for a rendition of 'Together'.
"This is really surreal for me right now to have all these people here," Smith said in response to the size of the crowd, before playing 'Leave Your Lover'.
He then continued with new single 'I'm Not The Only One', 'Restart' and chart-topping hit 'La La La'.
However, it was a performance of 'Lay Me Down', one of Smith's earliest tracks, that received a massive response.
Smith rounded off his set with his number one single 'Money On My Mind' - interpolated with a segment of Cece Peniston's '90s dance anthem 'Finally'- a stripped down rendition of his Disclosure collaboration 'Latch', and his global ballad 'Stay With Me'.
The Killers will headline the Virgin Media stage at V Festival in Chelmsford this evening, while Justin Timberlake will top the bill at Weston Park, Staffordshire.
